■ Amino acid analysis columns

Ion exchange has historically been the most popular mode for the separation and analysis of amino acids. Amino acids are Zwitterionic, they have both positive and begative charges on the molecule. Transgenomic offers a complete line of polymeric cation exchangers that separate amino acids on their differences in positive charge. Our column are available for both routine hydrolyzate analysis as well as amino acid analysis in complex physiological fluids, and the columns are designed for use with amino acid analyzers.

ICSep Column for Anion Exchange Chromatography ICSep Anion Exchange columns are designed specifically to provide optimum separations of inorganic and low molecule weight organic anions. These columns are compatible with all common IC eluents including carbonate-bicarbonate, borate and sodium hydroxide. ICSep columns work with either suppressed conductivity or non-supressed detection modes. ICSep resin beads are porous PS/DVB polymers with quaternary ammonium functional groups. Hydrophobicity, capacity, efficiency and selectivity are closely controlled for optimum separations.

ICSep Columns for Cation Exchange Chromatography ICSep Cation exchange columns provide separation capabilities for transition metals, Group I and II metals and ammonium species using either suppressed conductivity or UV detection modes. The ICSep Cation exchange columns employ porous PS/DVB polymers with sulfonic and carboxylic acid functional groups to provide separation of cations. The ICSep columns are compatible with a wide variety of eluants including strong acids, organic acids and chelators.
