POINT OF OPERATION PANELS

Our line of point of operation panels lets you purify GC gases right at your GC. These 2,3 or 4 cartridge systems can be bench or wall mounted adjacent to your gas chromatograph reducing possible contamination that traditionally occurs with purifiers located at the gas source. The large area of inner tubing surface and fittings involved in plumbing over distance can allow contaminants to enter through leaks in the fittings and cling to the inner tubing surface.

Based on the popular cartridge model traps, this second generation trap provides you with the convenience of cartridges. As many as four cartridges can be replaced in two minutes or less, with a minimal amount of gas purge after installation, before you are back on line. The filter heads are equipped with inlet and outlet check valves to minimize contaminant introduction during cartridge replacement. A cracking pressure of 1 psig is required to initiate gas flow around the soft, yet resilient O-ring seat. A smooth, tapered flow path minimizes pressure drop, and superior engineering eliminates possible blow –outs under high flow conditions.

Panels come fully assembled with heads installed on a panel ready for line connections and include one (1) set of getter cartridges. All cartridges and heads are interchangeable, so you can customize the combination of types of cartridges to fit your requirements.
