The Oxygen/Moisture Trap is a one-piece aluminum canister, which contains a highly active, metal-containing, inert supported reagent, capable of reducing oxygen content in a carrier gas stream to less than 15ppb. Up to 2 grams of moisture can be removed with no effect on oxygen capacity. Filled under a heated flow of ultra high purity helium, this trap makes extensive purging prior to GC/MS operation unnecessary.

GAS-DRY FILTER INDICATING MOISTURE TRAPS

The Gas-Dry Filter Trap removes moisture, oil, and dust from the carrier gas before it flows into your column, This improves the baseline stability resulting in more accurate analyses. The Gas-Dry Filter Trap is especially useful for purification of hydrogen in flame ionization detectors.

• Contains indicating Drierite® and Molecular Sieve 5A. The Drierite® changes from blue to pink at 5-6% relative humidity to warn of leaks in the gas stream.

• A plastic insert at each end of the cartridge keeps the packing from spilling.

The Model 300 Hydrocarbon Trap removes hydrocarbon from hydrogen and other gases. 500cc’s of pure activated charcoal - more than twice the capacity of other leading hydrocarbon filters – removes all hydrocarbons except methane at room temperature. The all – metal cylinder rated to 1000psig.
